Please note that use of the  Mqusic site and entry into any competition is subject to these terms and conditions.  Therefore please read this document carefully before using the site, or entering a competition. By using the site you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.

All references in these terms and conditions: to the "Website" refer to this Website; to "you" and "your" are to you; and to "we", "us" and "our" are to  Mqusic. 

1 Introduction

1.1 Mqusic is dedicated to being open and supportive of all parts of society. It will at no time accept entries, images or contributions which are discriminatory, spread hatred or promote prejudice. Any breach of these terms will result in your account being deleted and the offending material removed.

2 Children & Young People

2.1 If you are under 18 years of age then there is a  special policy and advice regarding how Mqusic will work to ensure your well-being and safety while using the site, and the actions you should take to keep yourself safe. Please read it fully before you register on the site or enter –Children & Young Peoples Policy

2.2 Mqusic does not knowingly collect information from children. If you are under the age of 13 please do not provide any personal information to us, including your name, mobile phone number, or any other details.

3 Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility for all mqusic competitions is shown on the competition information, you must fulfill all criteria to be eligible. All employees of Mqusic, their families, agencies, or any other person professionally connected with the competition are excluded from entry.

3.2 Participants who enter this competition from outside the United Kingdom confirm by entering a Mqusic competition that they have not breached any laws in their country of residence by entering this competition. Mqusic does not accept any responsibility for entrants who enter this competition unlawfully.

3.3 Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions will result in the disqualification of your Entry (see condition 4.1 below for definition of "Entry") and Mqusic reserves the right to disqualify any Entry, at any time, in its absolute discretion.

4   To Enter

4.1  To enter Mqusic competitions you must first register on our Website.

4.2  You should choose the competition and genre in which to place your entry. You should only enter in a competition if you consider yourself to be eligible for that competition.  By eligible, we mean that when other users view the Entry, the majority of users would agree that the Entry should be entered in that competition.

4.3   All Entries are subject to the Website Terms of Use and by entering the Mqusic competition, you warrant and represent that your Entry complies with those Terms of Use.

3.4  We reserve the right to remove without notice and at our sole discretion any Entry which we consider to be in breach of the Website Terms of Use.


5 Voting & Registration


5.1 In order to vote in Mqusic competitions, you must register by sending a text message as requested in the registration form. If you do not do so when you first register, you will be asked to when you attempt to vote.

5.2 Registration requires a single standard rate text within the UK and a single standard rate international text outside the UK

5.3 All data entered by you including your mobile phone number will be kept confidential and will under no circumstances be passed to a 3rd party. Your mobile phone number will never be used to contact you. We may occasional contact you by email to inform you of new competitions and other events on the site.

5.4 Once registered by text you will be able to vote a single time for each and every entry in any mqusic competition

5.5 By voting in the Mqusic competition you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions, the website terms of use

5.6 You may vote at any time after the Start Date and before the End Date. 

5.7 Any attempt to use multiple voting or to vote unfairly may result in the disqualification of the entry you have voted for.

6 Ownership of Entries

6.1 All Entries submitted as part of a Mqusic competition shall remain the property and copyright of the entrant. By entering a competition, the entrant hereby grants to Mqusic, its sub-licensees and assignees, a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use the Entry for any purpose and in any media whatsoever.

7 Disclaimer

7.1 Mqusic will not be liable for any inability to enter the Mqusic competition or vote for any Entries due to any interruption or delay to your access to the Website, or  for any other reason. 

8 Winner Publicity

8.1 Mqusic may use the winners name, age, town or city of residence and photograph for the purposes of announcing and promoting the Winners competition and for publicity purposes. 

8.2 By entering the Mqusic competition and/or by registering on, you agree that Mqusic may contact you by email from time to time in the future to inform you of events and activities on the site

9 Site Security

9.1 You must keep secret all Your registration details and information, including but not limited to Your password and username and You must not share or disclose such information to any third party.

9.2 We cannot promise that the Website or any of it’s content is reliable, complete, up-to-date or without mistakes. We also do not suggest or promise that any of the content is free of viruses or other harmful components which could damage your computer and you should always be cautious when accessing or downloading any content or other information from the Website.




10.1 If any of these terms and conditions or any provisions of a contract between you and us are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10.2 You and we acknowledge that, in entering into a contract, you have not and we have not relied on any representation, undertaking or promise given by the other or implied from anything said or written in negotiations between you and us prior to such contract except as expressly stated in these terms and conditions.

10.3 The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to these terms and conditions. No party who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have the right (whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise) to enforce any term which expressly or by implication confers a benefit on that person without the prior written consent of the parties which must refer to this condition 9.3. 

10.4 These terms and conditions are subject to continuous reassessment and change without prior notice.

10.5 Selling your music - When you set a track up for sale, you accept that Mqusic will take an admin fee from the download price to cover administration costs. 

11 Law and Jurisdiction

11.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, English law and shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.
